Empowering AHP's app for iPhone and iPad

A fundamental shift is urgently needed in the delivery of health and care to meet the challenges of demographic change and rising demands on public services.

This conference provides a key opportunity to shine a spotlight on the active role that Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) have to play as key members and leaders of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams, in commissioning and delivering more person-centred, integrated and effective services.

Too often in the public conversation on health policy, the key role of these highly skilled workers is neglected, in services that would fall over without them. We want this conference to get AHPs in the spotlight, to give them a chance to showcase innovations in practice and to network with colleagues in other allied professions and from medicine, nursing and the health leadership, management and policy community.
